ABOUT THE CLUSTER
Mycocluster is a multidisciplinary innovation and collaboration platform focused on unlocking the full potential of fungi (mushrooms) and mycelium across diverse industries.
By bringing together stakeholders from Academy, Industry, Government and Society representing variable industries such as construction, food, cosmetics, textiles, packaging, research, and biotechnology and other, we aim to foster a sustainable, circular, and bio-based economy rooted in mycology.
Our mission also includes popularizing fungi and mycelium among broader audiences — sparking curiosity, raising awareness, and inspiring action through education, outreach, and creative collaboration. The cluster is primarily intended for EU-based quadruple helix stakeholders to foster fungi and mycelium research, development, product innovation, awareness-raising and creation of new value chains.
